The course is conducted by WSET Educator Qualified Jit Hang Jackie Ang. Singapore born, Jacky has several years experience as a wine educator, presenting tastings, masterclasses as well as conducting Wine and Spirits Education Trust, Cambridge, UK.
His wine qualifications include:
Wine and Spirits Education Trust Level 3 (2014)
Wine and Spirits Education Trust Diploma (2014-2016)
French Wine Scholar with Highest Honours (Wine Scholar Guild) (2014)
Wine and Spirits Education Certified Educator (2015 – present)
Wine Scholar Guild Alsace Master Level with Honours (2016)
Wine Scholar Guild Provence Master Level with Highest Honours (2017)
Wines of Spain Scholarship for Master of Wines Course (2016)
(His day job here in Singapore is as Research Fellow at Experimental Therapeutics Centre, A*STAR.)
The course cost includes course materials, 6 hours lecture and guidance, lunch, exam evaluation by WSET UK and final certification from Wine and Spirits Education Trust. The process for receipt of final certification is about 6 weeks.
The WSET Level 2 course dates will be provided later to all who wish to continue the journey.
