G&G 94-96 , WA 90-92. Tasting note: Candied citrus and honey, a noble-rotted wine with delicate scents of quince, spices and fresh wax. Mouth-coating with good length and extremely refreshing acidity. (16-Apr-2013) [Gilbert & Gaillard] The 2012 has a lifted bouquet of quince, marmalade and yellow flowers that is precise and focused. The palate is viscous and convincing on the opening, offering good depth and cohesion with satisfactory botrytis, though it tails away ever so slightly on the finish. Still, this is a commendable effort and is another fine 2012 Barsac. Nobody promotes their estate more than the dynamic Aline Baly, and good for...
This wine is drawn from 25 year old chardonnay grapes on 1.21 hectares of plantings. Maturation occurs half in used French oak and half in stainless steel tanks. After 12 months the wine is blended and lightly filtered. It is a fresh, lively, fruit driven wine.
Burghound 93. Chablis Grenouille 2014 – 93/100 Tasting note: A discreet touch of wood sets off the airy, cool and once again notably floral nose that displays plenty of Chablis character. There is terrific intensity to the lilting yet powerful medium weight flavors that possess ample minerality on the notably more complex and persistent finale. This is impressive and should both drink well young yet amply repay extended keeping.

Burghound 88. Chablis VV 2015 – 88/100 Tasting note: ...there is again good volume to the concentrated and more mineral-driven flavors that possess slightly better depth on the balanced finish. This is lovely if not entirely classic.
Pouilly-Fuisse is the appellation for the finest white wines of southern Burgundy's Maconnais district. They are produced exclusively from Chardonnay grapes grown in the communes of Chaintre, Fuisse, Solutre-Pouilly and Vergisson. Château-Fuissé Tête de Cru draws its origin from the geological diversity of the estate's terroirs. The winemaking is chosen according to the character of each plot. The personal imprint of Antoine Vincent reveals all the grandeur of this wine in the Pouilly-Fuissé appellation. Vinification in oak barrels (60%) and in vats (40%). Chardonnay grape variety. Jancis Robinson - 15.5/20 - "Seriously impressive"
Corton-Charlemagne is the Grand Cru appellation for the white wines of the Montagne de Corton hill, in the Cote de Beaune district of Burgundy. The appellation was introduced in 1937 and covers land in the three surrounding communes of Aloxe-Corton, Ladoix-Serrigny and Pernand-Vergelesses.
Porusot (often spelled as Poruzot) is a Premier Cru vineyard of the Meursault appellation in the Cote de Beaune. Located (like so many) on the midslope of the Cote d'Or escarpment, the vineyard enjoys a limestone-predominant terroir that is very well suited to the production of high-quality wines made from Chardonnay. Porusot Premier Cru wines are medium-to-full bodied with spicy, smoky notes underpinning a rich, fruit-driven palate.
Powerful and Rich, Bougros is a very generous and expressive Grand Cru. Fermented in barrel. Aged 12 months in barrel. From 30 year old vines on a plot smaller than 1 hectare. WINERY NOTES: "Bougros is a very expressive Grand Cru. The location of the vineyard with a great sun exposure explains this concentration. We can find ripe fruit flavors, and a long intensity. Food Pairings : This Grand Cru will be perfect with meat in “sauce”, big sea food, mountain cheese. Parcels of Grands Cru overlooks the town of Chablis. Bougros is the first Grand Cru at the north. It is facing south / south west In 2015, 100% of the winemaking and aging was...
A parcel selection of a south exposed hill named Vauprin : The Estate’s Signature wine. “Vauprin” is a vineyard located in the village of Lignorelles and is known for being one of the highest altitude parcels in Chablis. It comprises a total of 3 hectares with vines of 25-50 years of age. WINERY NOTES: "This special wine has one goal : the wood has to be subtle and melted. Ripe fruits and fine grilled notes are characteristic of the nose. The palate is full, intense and very long. This is a pure and powerful expression of Chablis." This estate has been in the hands of the Lavantureux family for 4 generations and covers a total of 20...

Nose: very intense with ripe yellow fruits (apricot and peach) and white flowers bringing freshness. Mouth: round and full, very balanced, mineral finish
Burgundy Report - Bill Nanson 2016-11 "A golden impression, to the nose. Fresh, mineral and with a very nice silky texture. Really very mineral and quite interesting - citrus acidity. Yum! " Tiny production from vines planted in 1969 (1.86 hectares). All the plots of Burgundy Aligoté of the domain are planted on the commune of Meursault in rather deep lands of clay-limestone nature. L'Aligoté is a Burgundy grape variety (the Kir, a traditional Burgundy aperitif, is a glass of aligoté with blackcurrant cream). Burgundy Aligoté is a dry wine with medium potency and good acidity. Raised mainly in vats for 12 months to favor its freshness...
Founded in 1860 by Monsieur Régnard, this house is one of Chablis' oldest and most renowned. The Baron Patrick de Ladoucette took it back in 1984 and has since re-established the style and the quality of its wines. In 1992, Baron Patrick de Ladoucette created this cuvée Grand Régnard , in a unique bottle, from the best plots of Chablis. 100% Chardonnay awash with white flowers, lemon and grapefuit phenolics. Its is defined with a confident chalkiness that is echoed on the long lingering palate which is defined by green apple and peaches. RR4WEA
The "Pic Premier" is almost a Grand Cru, because the Cuvee consists of Grand Cru wines of the location Les Clos and of Premier Cru wines of the location Mont-de-Milieu. With the Pic Premier, the winemaker has resurrected the 1961 Grand Cru, a wine of unique elegance and finesse. Successful blend of noble chablis with slender, solidly structured body, of spicy suppleness, with brilliant freshness, healthy acidity and elegant finish.
Maison Régnard, one of the oldest and most prestigious wine houses in Burgundy, has a very old historical enclosure in the Pouilly Fuissé vineyard, the Clos du Pavillon. This Pouilly Fuissé Clos du Pavillon is simply a great Burgundy wine from which to benchmark all wines from the region. Brilliant.
