The style of Spanish Gran Reserva wines have varied over the decades - making this a most intersting and important overveiew of the country, enjoyed with some of the best Catalan food in Singapore from Ruben and Nuria, who will curate the wines, and Marti behind the stove.
Great pains have been taken to select wines from cases that have already been tasted and attested to. The external condition, ullage and capsules of the bottles are immaculate but it's time to see what's inside. It needs to be borne in mind that with vintages this rare, there is going to be bottle variation and quality differentiation. Statistics dctate that some may well not be up to scratch but we have gone far to limit the downside of this in a very rare exposition of the style.
