St Emilion 80% Merlot, 15% Cabernet Franc and 5% Cabernet Sauvignon WA 92-94+ Opaque purple-black colored, the 2019 Mangot strides confidently out of the glass with ripe, expressive scents of baked plums, blueberry compote and Black Forest cake followed by suggestions of allspice, espresso, aniseed and pencil shavings. The full-bodied palate has loads of densely layered black fruit flavors intertwined with spice box and mineral accents and framed by firm, grainy tannins, finishing long and earthy with a slight touch of wood poking through.
