Damson plum aromas, bright crimson hue and a maraschino cherry core form a vibrant bond, punctuated by a dried herb saveur. The wine is gentle and long, ebbing and flowing across a savoury, medium-bodied palate that gives and gives, without drying an inch. The oak regime here seems more respectful of the fruit than in the past. Kudos. Drink by 2030. 93 points Ned Goodwin – James Halliday’s Australian Wine Companion
