Variety: 85% Glera – 15% Chardonnay Residual sugar: 3 g/l Alcohol: 11% Sizes: 0.75 L/ 1.5 L/3 L This wine comes from a single vineyard at Gorgo al Monticano, on the historic estate of the Dal Bianco family, where business began in 1946. A dry wine with a clear, lingering finish whose amazing elegance reveals an intriguing structure. It is made of grapes selected on the vine and in the winery, white vinified by the gravity method.

Region: TUMBARUMBA. Harvested from grapes grown around 480 meters these cool-climate wines in the McW 480 Estate range are filled with freshness and vibrancy. Enjoy vibrant flavours from great heights. The McW 480 Pinot Grigio is floral and aromatic with lifted spice and delicate rose petal aromas. A light to medium bodied wine with spicy nashi pear and crisp gala apple flavours. The palate is aromatic, crisp and long with a lingering spiciness and clean refreshing finish.

WINERY NOTE: Chardonnay is a variety that allows you more freedom to make wines in a style that you like more than any other. Ours you will get a more delicate subtle version, moreish and complex. Grapes from our Morrison Vineyard were whole bunch pressed directly to barrel, fermented naturally using the vineyard yeasts, all in older French oak. A wine with delicate fruit flavours, some savoury complexity, nuttiness & vanilla, with a soft palate of pith like mineral texture, all underpinned by fine acidity. Matured for just under a year on lees prior to hand bottling without filtration. Certified organic, Morrison vineyard, Pisa.

Chenin Blanc is a variety that is all about texture and acidity. A great food wine that delivers a huge length of flavours with a mineral backbone.   Grapes from our Morrison Vineyard were whole bunch pressed directly to barrel, fermented naturally using the vineyard yeasts, all in older French oak.   A wine with refreshing acidity, delicate fruit flavours, some savoury complexity, a soft mid palate  and a long backbone of  freshness. A delicious off dry style from a cooler vintage for Central Otago. Whole bunch pressed, fermentation in a mixture stainless steel barrels and tanks, wild yeasts, no temperature control and aged on gross less for 3 months. RS 10g/l Floral and citrus aromas, flavours of kaffir limes and grapefruit, some initial sweetness underpinned by herbal mineral characters and ending dry with refreshing acidity. 12 % alc, medium weight in an off dry style. The fruit is crushed to the press, settled and racked to tank for a cold ferment and lees ageing. Scented white flowers and lemony freshness with a cleansing palate. The fruit has good integrity, and the mid-palate has pleasing texture and breadth, plus soft, rounded edges. It is a harmonious, balanced drink with a beautiful limey core. James Halliday Wine Companion 96 points. Cane-cut Coal River riesling weighing in at around 136g/L RS. Straw in the glass with characters of apple, lime, peach, candied citrus rind, clover and orange blossom, apple pie, crushed riverstone and crème brûlée. Once again that beautiful acidity struts its stuff, drawing all the rich flavours into relief and applying tension and velocity in the process, finishing long and unctuous. Superb. 96 points.
