This Grenache from Heathcote received a few hours skin contact while being gently pressed, fermented without the addition of yeast to dryness in old French barrels and spent five months maturing on yeast lees. It is a delicately coloured rosé, fresh and fragrant of roses, red currant and cranberry with a fresh, smooth, dry, textured palate. It balances the line of having enough mouthfeel and flavour without having too much. A blend of 85/10/5% syrah/pinot noir/pinot gris. A bright copper-tinged salmon. Perfumed with aromas of red fruits, citrus pith, Mediterranean herbs and floral notes. This is medium bodied and strikes the perfect balance between having flavour (but not too much) and finishing dry, orange-pithy and long. You don't need to drink this too cold, and it's just the wine for salmon steaks and lamb cutlets this summer! 96 points. Philip Rich Published 18 November 2025

Sourced from three sites, predominantly estate grown young Grenache vines, and two Sangiovese vineyards in the Seaview district of McLaren Vale, ‘Beautiful View’. Certified organic.
