Trapeze Early Gamay 2023 [JH 95]

From the Six Js vineyard in Steels Creek and planted in 1992. A superb bright, light crimson. Brian Conway has a way with gamay, and it shows in this vibrant wine. Lifted with its notes of freshly picked raspberries and cranberries that sit alongside some crushed pink peppercorns and dried mountain herbs. The palate is delicious with silky tannins rounding out a wine that can be served and enjoyed anywhere from 13–16 degrees, depending on the weather. 95 points.
