Voyager Estate Cabernets 2023 (Ray Jordan 96)

"This is largely cabernet, with a contribution from merlot and a few other Bordeaux varieties. It is a very stylish and elegantly structured wine that captures everything good about the vintage. The aromatics are high and perfumed, and there are beautifully seductive notes on the nose. Only about 15% new oak has been used here, so the wine is about the poise and the presence of some excellent fruit. It is focused and has a slightly distinctive nori oyster shell minerality that defines this southern region cabernet. Balanced and poised with great length."
