"Constantly one of the best examples of pinot gris to come from Tasmania. Light, brilliant straw in the glass with lifted notes of poached pear, spiced apple and citrus fruits with hints of crushed stone, jasmine, dried rose petals, almond paste, clover blossom and newly sliced fennel. The palate is a wonderful journey of texture and tension, savoury and dry with a glutamic umami swell and a bright mineral cadence throughout. Superb. 95 points." Dave Brookes

Moss Wood Botrytis Semillon 2024 (375ml) (RJ 94)

SG$54.00
SG$54.00

"This is a slightly fuller style than previously. Perhaps a product of the warmer vintage or an indication of a somewhat new direction for the variety. Regardless, it retains the essential linear mouthfeel and intensity of lemon zest and citrus. A crisp zingy acid sustains the long finish—an immediately appealing wine still with cellaring potential." RJ 94 September, 2024   #Vanya

"The depth and flesh on this wine at such a young age makes it immediately accessible, but it will last quite some distance too. Today it’s refreshing with upfront fruit, all lemon and white nectarines, lemongrass, some orange peel and grapefruit pith. Powerful yet equally compelling." Mount Pleasant Cellar Aged Lovedale Semillon 2018 [JH 95]

SG$75.00
SG$75.00

This iconic semillon is made from block LO-07 of the Lovedale Vineyard, planted on a sandy, ancient seabed in '46 by Maurice O'Shea. Like all 2018s, the wine is boldly flavoured and generous in proportion, with a pillowy mid-palate bursting with fresh pear, lime curd and a touch of smoked almond. As the wine will only expand with time, I would enjoy it now with its lovely mix of richness and freshness. 95 points. Toni Paterson Published 23 July 2024.

Only 200 dozen produced. 94 points STUART KNOX, THE REAL REVIEW “Vibrant lemon and lime colours shining through whilst the nose leaps with ripe melon, hints of flint and nettle leaf. Dense and powerful, there’s a real intensity to the core of fruit here but it is balanced by spice and flint complexities with bright acid and a brush of phenolics keeping it well focused and driving it. The finish is clean, tense and very long. A very impressive example of the variety. ” (29 Apr 2024) 93 points DAVE BROOKES, HALLIDAY WINE COMPANION "Grüner veltliner from the Belbrook vineyard on the East Coast of Tasmania; fermented...
