Deep dark ruby, purple reflections, subtle brightening on the rim. Herbal notes and liquorice underpin black forest berry fruit, ripe cherry and orange zest. Complex, good fruit ripeness, lively acidity, rancio touch, nutty aftertaste. Persistent. A fine food wine, already accessible.
