This little family owned gem is located on the hillsides of St Emilion, boasting Fleur Cardinale as their neighbours.. Only 2000 cases are produced from the 8 hectares of vines, which are planted with 75, 50 and 35 year old vines. The wine is a blend of 85% merlot and 15% cabernet franc. Traditionally made to the same meticulous Grand Cru Classe formula for 6 generations. It spends 12 months in French oak, 50% new before being bottled. Dense ruby color with bluish reflect, signs of a beautiful youth. On the nose, fruity notes or even cooked fruits (strawberry, black- berry, morello cherry) mixed with the freshness of liquorice. A bit of swirling aeration allows the appearance of roasted aromas, mocha, ground coffee with a hint of vanilla. On the palate, a tender attack and a fleshy volume restores the fruit flavors. Nice length with a pleasant freshness. The finish is one of spices and vanilla. Lovely. Total Production 2000 cases.

Located on a hillside overlooking the village of Saint-Emilion, Haut-Veyrac has an exceptional terroir. The clay and limestone soil allows Merlot and Cabernet Franc grape varieties to grow in the best conditions. The vineyard now extends over 10 hectares (24,71 acres) in one piece. The Château enjoys prestigious neighbors like Château Valandraud, Château Fleur Cardinale, and Château Faugères.

Haut-Veyrac has one philosophy: "Respect for Men, respect for our terroir, respect for our elders' work, and respect for the customers."

Production since 2020 has now grown to 3000 cases.
