We are unable to accept any returns for these as we have no recourse to the original source.   WA 98 The flagship of Kilikanoon is the 2006 Attunga 1865 Shiraz. Thick and rich, it coats the glass with glycerin. It gives up a brooding bouquet of wood smoke, game, truffle, espresso, leather, blueberry, and blackberry leading to a massive, masculine, full-bore Shiraz with dense, spicy fruit, a splendid integration...

'The 2005 Shiraz “Attunga 1865” is sourced from ungrafted vines planted in the Clare Valley in 1865. It spent 25 months in 100% new French oak hogsheads and was bottled unfined and unfiltered. Opaque purple/black, it reveals an ethereal bouquet of crushed rocks, acacia flowers,...

James Halliday 97 points. "Fruit from the original 1865 plantings in the Attunga vineyard. Crushed graphite laces blueberries, black cherries, fine white spice and mulberries together. In the mouth the wine is like midnight: deep and endless, the shape of the tannins becoming almost irrelevant as they coat the cheeks in a film of gossamer fine texture. Despite the concentration of flavour here, it is not weighty; displaying finesse and nuance alongside sheer, inarguable depth and magnitude from 157 years of vine age. Imagine the days those vines have seen." These vines planted in 1865 are some of the most important in the Clare...

Wine Advocate 92 points. The 2018 Blocks Road Cabernet Sauvignon offers up hints of sage, bay leaf and cassis, buttressed by hints of vanilla and cedar. It's medium to full-bodied, smooth and silky, with a line of acidity that runs from the front of the palate through the long, mouthwatering finish. Not a big, huge, ripe Cabernet, it's more about focus and harmony—and for the $30 USD SRP, it's a bargain. JC Aug 2021.

Established in 1997, Kilikanoon has established a reputation for producing world class, iconic Shiraz from vineyards located in the Barossa & Clare Valley. Winemaker Kevin Mitchell also produces more budget priced offerings, producing wines that offer ‘Killer Value’ under the Killerman’s Run label, with fruit now being sourced from entirely low yielding Clare Valley vineyards. Matured for 16 months in new and used French oak hogsheads.   "Dense midnight black dark red colour with a dark red black tinged hue. Elevated blackcurrant aromas infused with a mix of tobacco and bay leaf are trailed by some dried herb,...

Wine Advocate 90 points. Marked by scents of dried sage and cassis, the 2019 Killerman's Run Cabernet Sauvignon is a medium to full-bodied, velvety-textured wine that should have broad appeal. Ripe and expansive, it delivers concentrated, plush fruit and a long, softly tannic finish. JC Aug 2021 WINERY NOTES: Our Killerman’s Run Cabernet Sauvignon has been crafted through careful fruit selection, traditional winemaking techniques, sixteen months maturation in new and seasoned French oak hogsheads and bottling unfiltered to fully enhance the wines character and appeal. Wine Advocate 91 points. 2022 was an excellent follow on from the excellent 2021 vintage. This 2022 Killerman's Run Riesling is spritely, inchoate and so tightly coiled at this point that the acidity and the phenolics are seamlessly intertwined. Really great value here—pristine Riesling. Deep red in colour with a vibrant purple rim. Elegant red-fruited aromas with hints of cherry, anise and mixed spices. Dense flavours of red and dark fruits, blackberry, sweet plums and peppery spice.   Mr. Killerman lived in a humble tin shed in the hills behind Kilikanoon. He foraged through the valley for his meals, finding wild rabbits and many other gourmet treats. Respected as a man from the bush, he knew the secrets of the rich landscape. Killerman’s Run reflects the rich landscape and being at one with the environment by sourcing and blending wines from right across the Clare Valley into a seamless, natural and...

From older vines off the Mort Block. This is tightly packed riesling, concentrated and super, extra lemon-limey, a racy number with high refreshment factor and stacks of get up and go. Good perfume that delivers all that citrus but quite a lot of florals in jasmine and lemon blossom too. A little chalkiness to the texture is also a treat. Finishes long, fine and squeaky, with near eye-watering briskness of minerally acidity. Hits the spot.  93 points. Mike Bennie Published 07 August 2024

A potent and powerful riesling of deep concentration, strong lime-lemon citrus influence in both fresh fruit and floral components. Some blackcurrant faintly in there, Granny Smith apple too, with flickers of sweet spice, mint and dill herbal elements. It races across the palate, tightly wound, if not a little too dry and bony, restraining fruit flavour a tad, finishing a touch short. That being said, the wine has great presence, and the refreshment factor is high. 93 points. Mike Bennie Published 07 August 2024
