"Forager is the love-child of Dom Maxwell, founding winemaker of Greystone in Waipara2022 is the tenth release of Forager Pinot Noir. The wine was made from grapes grown in Amuri limestone in Waiau, a sub-region of North Cantebury that is a 40-minute drive north of Waipara. The vineyard, Isolated Hill, is owned by the Black family.

A major point of difference between Forager’s vineyard practices and those of others in their region is allowing the fermentation to take place among the vines that produced their wine.
