TASTING NOTES

This year’s Estate Pinot presents with a bright brick red colour and brilliant clarity.  Typical of the wines of 2024 it has a generous nose of red currant and hints of the richer blue fruits found in a warmer season.  It is framed by savoury spice delicate oak tones and just a hint of earthy forest floor.  Supporting that is a classic Delamere palate of beautiful savoury tannins and luscious pomegranate acidity.  The combination of fruit weight and acidity suggests a wine, if carefully cellared, will evolve to be one of our great vintages and worthy of the wait.
