Oakridge Willowlake Yarra Valley Pinot Noir 2023 [JH 96]

From 40-plus-year-old vines planted in Gladysdale on red volcanic soils. A deep-ish crimson red. With its bouquet of freshly poached strawberries, rose petals and a little hedgerow, this is the most accessible now of the three Vineyard Series pinots. Even more so on the silky smooth, nicely balanced palate, which exudes an old-vine creaminess. I'd drink this quite delicious wine now and over the next four to six years. 96 points.
