Bindi Dhillon Glenhope Riesling 2023

SG$50.00
SG$50.00

This new project from the granite soils in the northern end of the Macedon Ranges at 460m above sea level is an exciting addition to our activities. The vineyard was established in 1995 and the fruit has ostensibly been “lost” interstate until new Victorian owners took over in spring 2021. The new regime has quickly invested in the infrastructure and fine-tuned activities and several top producers are sourcing fruit from this excellent site. The Riesling was harvested in mid April and wild yeast fermented in old French oak then matured for six months on fine yeast lees. In the winemaking mind it was important to preserve/respect...

Grosset Alea Riesling 2023 [WA 95]

SG$50.00
SG$50.00

Wine Advocate 95 points. The 2023 Alea Riesling leads with roasted pineapple, green apples, hints of lychee and juniper, lemon oil and coriander. The fruit is a little quieter this year, but it's no less "present." It is a beautiful wine, fleshy and soft, but it still remains tethered to the tracks of very fine, very firm acidity. 12.5% alcohol, sealed under screw cap. Drink 2023-2037. Tyson Stelzer - WBM, OCT23 94 Points I love the way a touch of residual heightens not only the supple texture of the palate but also the white lily floral lift and fragrant purity of Clare Valley Riesling. The acidity of the cool 2023 season...

Grosset G110 Riesling 2023 [WA 97]

SG$120.00
SG$120.00

This is the rarest and most sought-after of Jeffery Grosset's world-class Clare Valley Rieslings. "The 2023 G110 Riesling is water-white in the glass, and aromatically, the wine is super subtle, with wisps of saffron and turmeric alongside crushed chalk and green apple skins, white peppercorns, orange blossom and brine. In the mouth, this wine does what it always does; it seems to delicately flare into chiaroscuro. It purposefully swirls and stutters across the palate, writhes across day and night and lingers through the long, quiet finish, where you'll find cracked oyster shell, shaved fennel, beach sand and whiffs of...

Grosset Polish Hill Riesling 2023 [WA 97]

SG$72.00

Wine Advocate 97 points. The 2023 Polish Hill Riesling is utterly superb. It has the flesh and body that only the Clare can deliver; it is shaped by coiled acidity, and it ripples through the finish with unfettered fruit power. It's a glorious thing, this wine. It's looking precise, focused and floral through the lens of the 2023 season. 12.9% alcohol, sealed under screw cap. Drink 2023-2043.   Top 50 Australia's Most Collected Wines - Wine Ark   Campbell Mattinson - The Wine Front, AUG23 96 Points Grosset’s Polish Hill is renowned for its reserve, particularly on release, but this rendition has both its quality...

Grosset Springvale Riesling 2017 [JH 95]

SG$56.00
SG$56.00

Bred in the purple, made by a winemaker who is never satisfied with the status quo and always seeks to look over the horizon. In a year such as this, and with all its other assets, Grosset (the wine) could hardly fail, and it doesn't. 95 points. James Halliday Published 20 June 2021

Grosset Springvale Riesling 2022 [JH 95]

SG$56.00

James Halliday Wine Companion, 95/100 Certified organic and biodynamic. A high-tension, fragrant Springvale release. Bright, floral perfume of lime blossom, ozone, blackcurrant and green apple. A strong spectrum of citrus flavours are the currency here: lemon, lime and a squirt of pulpy grapefruit zing with a faintly yeasty, almond-like character to finish. Quiet complexity and vitality are writ large here. Excellent. 95 points. Mike Bennie Published 13 September 2022. Wine Advocate 95+. Coiled. That's what this 2022 Springvale Riesling is. It's like a compressed spring, waiting for release. The fruit is from the Springvale vineyard...

Campbell Mattinson - The Wine Front, AUG23 96 Points Well, seriously, the 2023 Grosset rieslings are wonderful. This has you at hello. It’s structured and a touch reserved but there’s decent flavour both at the outset and throughout and then the finish, well, it saves its best for last. This wine really does seal the deal. Chalk, lime, fennel, a grainy/skinsy aspect to the finish but this is a wine of great fruit purity, finesse and finish. It’s delicious. It impresses with its structure. And it has that extra flourish. Mike Bennie - Halliday Wine Companion, SEP23 96 Points A flavoursome release of this stalwart Clare...

Kilikanoon Morts Block Wayervale Reserve Riesling 2023 [JH 93]

SG$52.00
SG$52.00

A potent and powerful riesling of deep concentration, strong lime-lemon citrus influence in both fresh fruit and floral components. Some blackcurrant faintly in there, Granny Smith apple too, with flickers of sweet spice, mint and dill herbal elements. It races across the palate, tightly wound, if not a little too dry and bony, restraining fruit flavour a tad, finishing a touch short. That being said, the wine has great presence, and the refreshment factor is high. 93 points. Mike Bennie Published 07 August 2024

O'Leary Walker Polish Hill Riesling 2020 [RJ 96, JH 95]

SG$42.00

O'Leary Walker Wines was established in 2000 by winemakers David O'Leary and Nick Walker. With over twenty five years experience and established reputations making premium wine with the big companies, these two long time friends decided to take control of their own destiny and craft small batches of wine from some of the best vineyard sites in South Australia. With a great leap of faith they are now doing exactly what they set out to. "The 20th vintage and what a cracker it was in Clare. This is distinctly finer and more delicate than the Watervale wine from this vintage. It really reflects this outstanding area. Has a...

O'Leary Walker Watervale Riesling 2021 [JP 96]

SG$40.00
SG$40.00

Jeni Port 96 points. A natural cool beauty, Watervale combines stunning aromatics – apple blossom, white flowers – with lingering aromas of Tahitian lime, lemon, grapefruit. Citrus and talc florals work hand in hand here. Soft, textural acidity offers a solid foundation for the brisk lemony brightness and lime cordial intensity of the fruit. And it lasts and lasts on a long, clean finish. Guess you might say I fell hard for this young riesling. A classic riesling vintage in the Clare Valley is a thing to behold. Excellent drinking now, it will be a pleasure to follow its journey. Date Tasted: October 2021; Drink: 2021 to...
