The Ànima Negra winery is a relatively new winery, which was founded in 1994 with the idea of making quality wines yet remaining faithful to the character of the island by using local varieties in their processes.

Ànima Negra is a purely Mallorcan blend, consisting of Callet, Mantonegro and Fogoneu varieties, along with a small percentage of Syrah. AN/2 is aged for 13 months in barrels of French and American oak.
