The skin-contact white 2023 Pesseroles Brisat has a murky orange color and was produced with 40% Garnacha Blanca, 30% Picapoll Blanc and 30% Pedro Ximenez (proportions that will change in 2024). It was macerated with skins—but without stems—for the time it took to finish fermenting, a little less than three weeks, in amphorae and matured in glass demijohn. It has notes of quince, pollen and earth and is greatly influenced by the process. It comes through as balanced, with fine tannins and a salty twist.. LG May 2026.

The Pesseroles Brisat is a striking orange, cloudy wine with plenty of character. It's a white wine with skin contact (also called orange wine), made from a blend of 42% Garnatxa Blanca, 35% Picapoll, and 23% Pedro Ximenes. All the grapes were harvested simultaneously, with whole bunches fermented for several weeks.

The nose is distinct and clearly influenced by contact with the skins, with aromas of peach, quince, beeswax, pollen, and an earthy note. According to winemaker Sara Pérez, these primary aromas only disappear after about seven years, after which notes reminiscent of petroleum emerge, similar to Rieslings from slate soils (such as those in Germany). On the palate, the wine is rich in tannins (rare for a white wine), full-bodied and tense, with plenty of structure. The Mas Martinet Pesseroles Brisat is a distinctly gastronomic wine, ideal for food pairing.
