Mulline Geelong Barrabool Cabernet Sauvignon 2023 [JH 94]

From the Barrabool vineyard planted in '99. Fully destemmed and fermented with whole berries; 21 days on skins and pressed to second-use French hogsheads. Bright crimson purple. A fragrant and very nicely put-together Geelong cabernet with its bouquet of red cherries and blackcurrants alongside a gentle leafiness. Medium bodied, this fruit-driven and fine-boned wine has just the right amount of cherry-skin fruit tannins. A cabernet, if you like, for pinot drinkers. 94 points.
