Deep Woods Estate Chardonnay 2025

Brilliant pale straw colour with greenish tinged edges and a watery hue. White peach, nectarine, citrus and melon aromas fill the nostrils with some delicate biscuity nougat and gun flint notes also chiming in. Generous peach, nectarine and grapefruit flavours carry ample flesh with notions of dried honey, biscuity nougat and subtle spice sitting in the background. Fresh acidity with a long, textural, fruit driven finish.
Drink over the next 4-5 years.

This wine exhibits ripe stone fruit, grapefruit and subtle honey/biscuit characters.

PALATE

The balance on the palate is provided by generous preserved lemon characters and a tension from coastal vineyards that deliver saline sea breeze flavours.

CELLARING

This wine may be enjoyed on release but will find further complexity with three to four years from vintage.
