Albert Morot Beaune 1er Cru Les Bressandes 2022

This 1.27-hectare plot is situated mid-slope, facing southeast. Its soil exhibits a good balance of limestone, silt, and clay. It is said that a former owner, a 13th-century canon named Johannis Bressand, gave it his name. This terroir is also found in Aloxe-Corton, where, according to legend, three spinsters from Bresse acquired the plots.

The wines are remarkably refined, revealing themselves on the palate with a clean, dense texture and a pronounced velvety mouthfeel. Roasted meats, even certain fish (such as roast monkfish with bacon), as well as cheeses like Cîteaux, Saint-Nectaire, or Reblochon, are excellent pairings.
