A charming white Burgundy, the Hautes Côtes de Nuits Blanc offers a minerally, citrus-forward profile. The 2023 vintage is likely to drink well in its youth, fresh lively burgundy at super price. This  cuvée   comes from a 2.2-hectare vineyard high in the hills around Arcenant. The combination of altitude and limestone-rich soils lends plenty of freshness to the wine. This is typically a floral, citrus-driven style of unoaked Chardonnay.

Fantastic energy and length to this young Sauternes, with dried-apple, apple-pie, spice and cinnamon character . Medium body, medium sweetness and a vibrant finish. - James Suckling 95-96 points. Wow again – intense – extra mineral – a little extra volume in the mouth – it’s a step up from the brilliant Forets. Beautiful clarity and texture with balanced concentration. Gorgeous wine and currently just a nose short of greatness!"

Burghound 93 points. The wine is pale gold with emerald highlights, a perfection of finesse and purity that blossoms with time. Notes of menthol and licorice emerge, underpinned by the characteristic iodine minerality of great Chablis wines. Drink within five to ten years.

Burghound 89-91 points. Outstanding Top Value. "A slightly riper nose freely offers up a hint of the exotic on the blend of white and yellow orchard fruit where a touch of post-malolactic fermentation character lurks in the background. The old vines are in evidence on the medium weight flavors as there is better density along with plenty of sappy dry extract that buffers moderately firm acidity on the lingering and balanced finish. This is also worth a look though note that my predicted range assumes that the nose will clean up once the wine is racked." BH      

Burghound 90 points.   "This is also aromatically ripe and fresh with its array of pear compote, citrus confit, spice and hints of quinine and algae. Here too there is good tension suffusing the more refined and beautifully textured medium weight flavors that display good balance on the lingering finale. This pretty effort needs better depth so a few years of keeping are recommended." BH 90   Exceptional wine from 65+ year old vines. Beautiful pale golden yellow robe, a full and generous palate of peach, mango and tangy fruits that compete with aromas of spices.

Sourced from vineyards owned by the wider Vincent family and therefore not strictly ‘château’ production, these vines are nonetheless managed, pruned and harvested by the Château Fuissé team; no oak here. Pale water white with a lightly floral nose, a hint of freesia and some almost grapey notes, leading to a palate full of fresh white flowers, juicy with nice acidity and grip and a fresh finish.

It takes time to settle on the nose, showing ample yellow fruit infused with crushed stone and light lanolin aromas., The palate is well-balanced, with mango and peach on the entry. It leans more trowards the tropical side, though undeniably balanced with a deft touch of ginger on the finish. "

Jasper Morris 94 points. Clear pale lemon. The nose does not really speak at this stage. The volume of fruit is present, but perhaps not quite the nobility. Perhaps this is just very backward, with saline and citrus notes, with clearly some concentration on the palate. Drink from 2024.

The 2021 Beauroy has a pale lemon colour, a softer and quite graceful nose, with a crunch of citrus acidity at the finish.   Jasper Morris 91 points. Ripe yellow nectarine, hint fresh honey and introduces lovely lime, flint and cream nuances and floral notes too. The palate is cool with ripe yellow fruits – this is fresh, round, building in complexity, citrussy – lovely.

It has a fine focus. The palate is fresh and vibrant, with a superb line of acidity, real weight and depth, but retaining utmost precision and harmony on the finish. It evinces a bit of wood contact that will need a few months to be fully subsumed yet thewre is plenty odf fruit  to soak that up.  The palate is very well balanced, with a bright entry, peachy and zesty.
