The change started in 2022 is even more noticeable in the 2023 Sindicat La Figuera, especially after the experience of the previous year with an earlier harvest to keep more freshness. This year was even more extreme, and the wine is more voluptuous, with a decadent, fruit-driven nose with abundant notes of beeswax and honey intermixed with ripe berry fruit and flowers. This is expressive and a bit heady with 14.5% alcohol, and it has a rich and juicy palate with very fine tannins. It comes from one of the zones that suffered more; the soil got dry and many plants died. So, the wines are concentrated through lower yields, and it was very challenging, a condition that got worse in 2024. LG May 2025.
