"Medium-deep red with a tinge of purple at the edges. There's a big waft of smoky charcuterie, toasted barrels and reduction, suggesting high-impact, characterful barrels. In the mouth, the wine has ample fruit intensity to balance the oak input, while the tannins are ample and refined, in ideal balance with the wine, the fruit-sweetness at the core creating a succulence and deliciousness that lasts right to the very end. Gorgeous pinot noir!"
