Crafted from old bush vines planted in the 1950’s and 1960’s which are grown without irrigation on various types of granite soil. 'Arrival 25 May or earlier This wine, incorporating grapes from seven separate vineyards on various soils with planting dates ranging from 1968 to 1985, just gets more and more refined. Tim Atkin MW 93 points. The 2018 Pinotage from David & Nadia is a beautiful red, from the Siebritskloof valley of the Swartland's famed Paardeburg mountain. Delicate on the nose, with herb infused notes of dark berries and a hint of cassis, the palate is lifted and energetic, with chalky tannins, and a floral perfume.
