You get ample varietal tones in the 2016 Montefalco Sagrantino 25 Anni, with bitter chocolate and baking spice, but Caprai does a terrific job of softening up and fleshing out the Sagrantino grape to display a more contemporary and ultimately more approachable and versatile wine. This Grenache from Heathcote received a few hours skin contact while being gently pressed, fermented without the addition of yeast to dryness in old French barrels and spent five months maturing on yeast lees. Monjardin Extra Virgin Olive Oil is made from 100 % Arbequina olives from our Estate in Monjardin in the North of Spain (Navarra). The Continental climate makes it very fresh.
