Wine Advocate 91 points. A blend of 45% Clairette, 35% Grenache Blanc and 20% Bourboulenc, the 2018 Chateauneuf du Pape Blanc is mostly tank-fermented and aged (20% goes into barrels). It's full-bodied and plush, with fruit that consists of tangerines, limes and white peaches. Big up front, it gradually narrows to a tight, crisp finish. JC Aug 2019.
WS 94-97 WA 94-96 Drink 2019 - 2040 The 2015 Coutet... has a fragrant bouquet with acacia honey, citrus scents and a touch of melted butter, all very well defined. The palate is medium-bodied with impressive purity, those limestone soils imparting the acidity that defined this Barsac, and lending great precision and tension on the live-wire finish. This is a wonderful Coutet that feels energetic - a compressed spring coil that will drink earlier than the likes of Climens or de Fargues, but has the DNA to age gracefully over 25-30 years.NM Apr 2016. #3 Wine Spectator Top 100 for the 2014 vintage in 2017
Alan Meadows: "A distinctly cool and restrained nose somewhat grudgingly offers up notes of dried orchard fruit, oyster shell, citrus and a suggestion of iodine. The more tightly wound and mineral-driven flavors possess a bit more size and weight along with much better power on the sappy, concentrated and impressively intense and persistent finish. This too is really very good and worth considering." 93/100 The Grenouille or "Frog" is the flagship wine of the estate. This grand cru is hand harvested from vines older than 50 years, their roots deep in soils that are a mixture of clay and limestone. The wine is matured for 18 months in oak...
Burghound 93 points: ""A much more restrained if not entirely mute nose grudgingly offers up notes of cool citrus, green fruit, iodine and oyster shell nuances. There is excellent richness and density to the bigger-bodied flavors that possess excellent power and a slightly firm acid spine that shapes the bone dry and beautifully lingering finish where the only reproach is a touch of warmth. Excellent development potential here."" The Grenouille or "Frog" is the flagship wine of the estate. This grand cru is hand harvested from vines older than 50 years, their roots deep in soils that are a mixture of clay and limestone. The wine is matured...

The JJ Vincent Pouilly-Fuisse Cuvee Marie Antoinette is a tribute to Jean Jacques Vincents mother; Marie Antoinette Vincent. The wine is sourced from several parcels including young vines from the Chateau Fuisse vineyards of Le Clos, Les Brules and Le Combettes as well as several non-domaine yet family owned parcels throughout the appellation. Cuvee Marie Antoinette is created with a fresh, youthful profile in mind. The grapes are vinified in stainless steel tank with only about 25% of the total blend seeing any time in oak. The resulting wine is pleasing, refreshing and crisp on the palate. Producer Chateau Fuisse has defined the...
Pouilly-Fuisse is the appellation for the finest white wines of southern Burgundy's Maconnais district. They are produced exclusively from Chardonnay grapes grown in the communes of Chaintre, Fuisse, Solutre-Pouilly and Vergisson. Château-Fuissé Tête de Cru draws its origin from the geological diversity of the estate's terroirs. The winemaking is chosen according to the character of each plot. The personal imprint of Antoine Vincent reveals all the grandeur of this wine in the Pouilly-Fuissé appellation. Vinification in oak barrels (60%) and in vats (40%). Chardonnay grape variety. Jancis Robinson - "Seriously impressive"
Grape variety Chardonnay Average age of the vines 30 years Maturation 12 months in oak barrels (1/4 new barrels) Tasting notes A rich and powerful wine which needs 2-3 years to really develop. TASTING NOTES GOEDHUIS, DECEMBER 2019 Shining lemon yellow colour, this is a very radiant wine. With characters of clotted cream and pecans, it balances a natural fullness and richness with a lovely bite of orange zest. Extremely enticing and, true to Justin’s nature, very relaxed and full of charm. Justin's notes: "Seductive, with a bouquet of roses and lychee and a distinct spice aroma on the finish. Golden yellow in colour, spicy in aroma and...
Justin's Tasting Note: "Very steepy area (20-25%) with south exposition give to the wine a rare density. Good minerality, very precise and full-bodied with elegant strength. An iconic Grand cru wine from Burgundy."
Sancerre is a small wine district in central France, famous for its crisp, aromatic white wines made from Sauvignon Blanc. The classic Sancerre wine is white, bracingly acidic, and has pungent aromas of gooseberries, grass, nettles, and a hint of stony minerality. Richer, riper examples – particularly those from warmer, west-facing sites with chalky soils – often show fruitier notes of passionfruit and lemon peel. Sancerre is typically less 'obvious' than the most famous New World styles of Sauvignon Blanc. La Poussie Sancerre Blanc sees its origins dating back to the Capetian era. The vineyards dominate the Loire and produce a dry and...
WINERY NOTES: Beauroy is a south facing 1er Cru. This aspect allows it to receive more sunlight than any of our other vineyards. The wine is always rich and concentrated with ripe fruit flavors. We don't make it every year but the warm vintage presented us with great fruit from the site. In 2018 we kept more freshness and acidity in the wine. This has given a nice balance to the Beauroy and a long finish. Aged 50% in barrels and 50% stainless steel tank for 12 months.
Winery Notes: Powerful and Rich, Bougros is a very generous and expressive Grand Cru Vintage 2017. Tasting Note Bougros is a very expressive Grand Cru. The situation of the parcel with a great sun exposure explain this concentration. We can find ripe fruit flavors, and a long intensity. Food Pairings : This Grand Cru will be perfect with meat in “sauce”, big sea food, mountain cheese. Parcels of Grands Cru overlooks the town of Chablis. Bougros is the first Grand Cru at the north. It is facing south / south west. In 2017, 100% of the winemaking and aging was in french oak barrels, 20% of new oak. Bottling at the Domaine. #GC
Jancis Robinson 18/20. Sweet spices, chalk and steel on the palate with delicious umami complexity on the mid palate. Full and lengthy, and shows that Chablis can be taken as seriously as any top burgundy. Still very young, and will go on to even greater things. (RH) Drink 2022– 2032.
Jancis Robinson 17.5. Chalk, green olive, and a slightly toasty edge. Long, powerful core fruit. A genuine step up from their villages Chablis, with lots of ageability. (RH) Drink 2021– 2028 • Fermented in stainless steel • 40% of the wine is aged in barrels that are 3 to 6 years old, no new oak is used
Neil Martin for Vinous Media, 94 points. The 2018 Chablis Vau de Vey... was matured in 50% barrels and 50% stainless steel for 12 months. It has a clean, pure bouquet of yellow plum, orange pith and light crushed stone notes. The palate coneys energy right from the start, revealing hints of blood orange and quince, racy acidity and an elegant, very persistent finish that lingers in the mouth. Superb. Sep 2020. One of the most steep and rocky plots of Chablis: a pure expression of Chablis. • Fermented in stainless steel • 60% of the wine is aged in barrels that are 2 to 4 years old for 8 months, 40% aged in stainless steel
Guide Bettane 17 points. Winery Notes: The nose of this Grand Cru is full and rich. There is a great balance with fruity aromas, almost exotic notes. The end is very, long and shows grilled notes and flavours of vanilla. Food Pairings : Foie Gras, Scallops, Scampi or Fowl cooked with herbs and wine. Parcels of Grands Cru overlooks the town of Chablis. Our Vaudésir is facing south that bring a very high power to the wine. Vaudésir 2017 is 100% aged in french oak barrels with 20% new oak We are looking for the right winemaking to balance this power with the high minerality coming from the very deep limestone soil. Bottling at the Domaine. #GC

The 2018 Chablis Vaudesir Grand Cpu is comes from a 1.7ha , 25 year old vineyard and is matured in 80% oak barrels and 20 % stainless steel. It has a fabulous nose of citrus fruit, orange blossom , crushed limestone and light fume aromas. The oak here is beautifully knitted. Neil Martin for Vinous Media, 93 points. "....aged for 12 months in 50% oak barrels and 50% stainless steel. It has a very harmonious bouquet of yellow flowers, mirabelle, crushed rocks and light hazelnut aromas that attain impressive intensity with aeration. The palate is finely balanced with a fine bead of acidity, there is real tension and race here. The finish fans out wonderfully and its persistence deserves applause given the relatively unknown location of this vineyard.Highly recommended." Sep 2020. Wine Enthusiast 92 points. Neil Martin for Vinous Media 92 points. The 2018 Chablis Villages, matured for 12 months in 80% stainless steel and 20% used oak, has a vibrant, fresh, classic Chablis nose that many other growers were not able to achieve in this warm year. The palate is very well balanced with a fine bead of acidity, vibrant and zesty, showing a touch of spice on the elegant finish. This must surely be one of the finest Chablis Villages of 2018. Guide Bettane 15.5 points. From 0.9 hectares of vineyards over 60 years old, this wine offers richness and complexity. 60% aged in 3 to 5 year old barrels and 40% in stainless steel. 2016 vintage was smaller due to hailstorms but the quality was excellent with rich, ripe fruit received across all appellations. This estate has been in the hands of the Lavantureux family for 4 generations and covers a total of 20 hectares. It is now run by the latest generation of 2 sons. Arnaud is in charge of vineyards and winemaking, David of sales, communication and marketing. They have made an immediate impact, as judged by their peers in the region:...
WINERY NOTES: A flattering nose, reveals flavors of ripe fruits, also identifiable during Tasting because of the natural concentration of the grapes. The minerality is stronger than expected and offers a long finish. This wine will perfectly match with lobster, spiny lobsters, fishes in sauce, or also with grilled meats or cooked with cream.. Vineyards and Winemaking The 3 parcels of this “Vieilles Vignes” are located in Lignorelles. The pruning is « guyot double ». The yield is naturally low with a beautiful aromatic richness. Minimum age of vines is 50 years. In 2018 aging was 60 % in inox tank to keep a great intensity and 40% in...
Neil Martin for Vinous Media 90 points. "The 2018 Petit Chablis comes from 35 year old vines and spent 10 months in stainless steel, 8 months on the fine lees. This hs a delightful white peach and light apricot nose that blossoms in the glass. The palate is well balanced with a tangy marmalade note on the entry, good depth and a subtle reduction on the finish. Excellent." Sep 2020.
